This month saw the launch of a new cleaning system designed for hard floors from those clever people at Dyson. The Dyson Hard DC56 is a cordless stick vacuum that uses a wet wipe attached to the head to clean the floor as well as sucking up the dust.

It also comes with extra tools for those hard-to reach places and converts to a handheld cleaner. The battery is claimed to last for up to 15 minutes before needing a charge, and the power won’t fade. Here’s a great video of their testing process.
