Royal Connections

Posted on

The press build up to the imminent marriage of William and Kate brought to mind StopGap’s royal connections. A few years ago we sent a quantity of StopGap to Buckingham Palace. The name on the order was not Windsor and it could be that it was bought by a member of staff. On the other hand, could it be that the purchaser was someone of a higher station using an alias to hide the fact that the Royal Quarters could be suffering from something as common as draught?

Another link with royalty is that trials of StopGap are being carried out at Hampton Court Palace.  The connections continue when you consider that William is the great, great, great, great grandson of Queen Victoria, for whom the brilliant Victoria and Albert Museum is named. StopGap is in use at the V & A.
